ABRUZZO

Among the Apennines and the Adriatic sea, there is a land rich in appeal. Easily to reach from any part of Italy, Abruzzo remained for a long time distant and secluded, but it has finally started to be rediscovered.

Beaches and reefs follow one after the other on the Adriatic coastline and they are the most famous attraction of the region. Traditionally chosen by families, they have now started to attract a younger and international public, thanks to tourist ports, sport plants, events.

At the same time, thousands of visitors started to move from the beaches to the wonderful hinterland, to the historical centers, the castles, the churches and the abbeys.

They started to discover the three National Parks, the Regional Park, the numerous wildlife reserves guaranteeing the survival of a big number of plant and animal species, making Abruzzo the "Greenest Region in Europe".

Moreover its wonderful ski slopes attract skiers from all Italian regions. Gourmets can taste delicious dishes, typical products, wines and oils. Thermal waters represent another good reason to visit the region.
